Game Review | PS4 | Persona 5

This game is a JRPG [*] genre in which a protagonist’s party called “The Phantom Thieves of Hearts” infiltrates into a corrupt adults Palace [1] and steals their Treasure [2] and reforms [3] them. [ Carl Gustav Jung : 1875.7.26. ~ 1961.6.6. ] Some of the in-game contents of Persona 5 borrowed some terminology from Karl Jung's analytical psychology theory and transformed it very well into contents in-game. More specifically, the term Persona is expressed in the unique power and costume as self-image of each character's unconscious in the palace of corrupt adult. And, the term Shadow is an unconscious existence (another persona) created in the palace by external influence, and it is expressed in the enemy. According to persona theory, it is said that a person has various mask-like appearance by external influences. And, it said that there is a real figure of oneself that can not know themselves. That's why I think the world view is pretty sensible. ...

Game Review | PS4 | God of War

Recently I played the God of War for the first time. Actually the title of this game is the God of War 4. But, it hasn't the numbering of 4. The reason is because the developer claims a comment that this brand new God of War is totally different from the past series. I have never played the past series of God of War. However, I did search and compare some videos related to God of War. I could know that this God of War is a completely different game from the past series. The God of War that informs a new start from 2018 is an action adventure genre that the father and son take the risky journey to spray her remains at the peak of the world's highest mountain. I think the keywords of this game are the Shoulder View Action, the Axe & Shield Skills, the Growth as Father and Son, the Expansion of a world view. At first I felt weird about the Shoulder View. Because it is usually use in TPS(Third Person Shooting) games.  Among the games I've ...

Game Review | PS4 | The Last Guardian

This game is the second game that I played after purchasing the PS4 in early 2017. It is the 3rd person action adventure genre that it expresses a journey of a boy escaping from the historic site with a big eagle "Torico" that a boy found in the ruins. The main playable elements is to find the path and move, solve the puzzle to find a new path, and fight against the enemy. All of these elements must be played and proceeded as they interacting with the Torico together. It seems to be having an adventure with untamed pets. So, The most impressive thing was that I experienced this whole process of the boy and the Torico communicating and taming each other. Some people who played this game criticized about the AI of the Torico. But, people who tamed pets will recognize the AI as intended. So, I think they will be more sympathize with this experience. Just as a pet is tame to me, It takes quite a long time for me to get used to it. Even the pro...

Game Review | PS4 | The Last of Us

This is the first game that I purchased PS4 and played in early 2017. The Last of Us is a narrative action adventure game in which I could play nervous to survive in the Apocalypse world and experience the missing and recovery of humanity. In particular, I was most impressed by the fact that I can certainly feel that Zoel and Ellie are recovering each other's missing human parts from each other. Moreover, I realized that the most frightening beings in Apocalyse world are humans, not monsters. It's probably one of the most impressive games in my life. So, now I'm looking forward to The Last of Us Part2.
